• Assist in the administration and evaluation of existing online courses of instruction, including the collecting and analyzing of data for the assessment of courses and programs;
• Support the development of teaching with new media and electronic technology, including the use of Multimedia Center facilities and the Teaching and Learning Commons;
• Develop plans and proposals for the expansion of online instruction into new courses and programs, including degree programs;
• Develop and maintain Web sites (informational pages with data gathering and interactive features) to provide information for current and prospective online students, including interactive student assistance, evaluation, and advising about online courses and programs;
• Coordinate student support for Blackboard and other informational tools (e.g. Lehman email, library electronic facilities) with College academic support services, e.g. ISSP, Library, Informational Technology Resources;
• Coordinate the use of new technology including online instruction - in courses, certificate and degree programs - with the academic deans and relevant departments;
• Maintain contact with online programs and faculty development center directors at other CUNY colleges, especially at Lehman’s “feeder” schools;
• Represent the College’s online program and media-rich teaching at CUNY and other meetings and conferences where appropriate;
• Assist in the planning and maintenance of the Online Office budget; and
• Provide regular reports on the status of teaching with technology and online instruction at Lehman.
