POSITION DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES
|

The Department of Nursing seeks applications for full-time position in Adult/Geriatric Practitioner for teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Certification as Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Clinical and classroom teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. Participation in course and curriculum development. Proposal writing for funded projects. Student advisement. Research and scholarly activity. Department, college and community service.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
|

|
Doctorate, preferably in nursing, required. Baccalaureate and/or Master’s degree in nursing. Certification as a Geriatric nurse practitioner. Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State
